2015 Fly In Photos

Thanks to everyone who came out and made CCF's fourth annual fly-in a huge success, with a record number of people in attendance. The weather (and wind)cooperated which made for perfect flying conditions. Beth from the Douglas Budget visited the field and took a few photos. You can read that story here. Don handed the controls over to her and she piloted the LT-40 Trainer for a bit. Photos from the event are posted here: 2015 Fly In

Thank You

Thanks to everyone who have spent countless hours mowing and keeping the field looking great. The cool and wet spring has certainly required more field maintenance. A reporter from the Budget will be at the field on Monday to write up a story and take some photos before the fly in. That story is posted HERE.

Time to Fly

Hello everyone! The 2014 flying season is almost upon us. It's an exciting time of year that modelers look forward to after a long winter, absent of flying. We have started prepping and getting the field ready for another awesome year. We are in the process of rolling the field to smooth out some of those bumps and holes, and repair some of the wind-swept areas from that wonderful Wyoming wind. A few of us are excited about taking our winter project out of the hangar and on its maiden flight. Hope to see you at the flight line.
